Larry Vuckovich has won acclaim from critics and jazz audiences for his deeply imaginative style and repertoire heard at prestigious North American and European jazz clubs, concert halls and festivals. He is equally at home in world music/classically influenced modal jazz as he is with hard-swinging bebop, post-bop, contemporary jazz, and down-home blues. He is joined on stage by Crosswinds (formerly the Blue Balkan Ensemble) this new revived group features the original Blue Balkan master violinist, Eric Golub along with the exciting marimba player, Tommy Kesecker. Vince Delgado, the great interpreter of the Middle Eastern percussion, along with the swinging drummer Akira Tana, create a stimulating rhythm team.
