Larry & Charles McPherson: From a recording session, City Sounds, Village Voices, 1982, produced by Dr. Herb Wong for Palo Alto Jazz records. It also shows Ray Drummond on the bass. This album featured a stellar cast including Tom Harrell, Charles McPherson, Jerome Richardson, Eric Golub, Ray Drummond and Eddie Marshall. This 1982 LP received five stars in the Down Beat magazine. Additionally, the esteemed New York critic/author Gary Giddins wrote about this recording in an article for Esquire magazine featuring four pianists that were: Tommy Flanagan, Larry Vuckovich, Ralph Sutton, and Don Pullen.
